Amir Strikes early England lost Andrew Strauss

Mohammad Amir celebrates his early
dismissal of Andrew Strauss
Mohammad Amir to Strauss, OUT, 86.8 mph, gone this time! It's Strauss who is out first! No need to play here but Strauss has been struggling against the Pakistan left-arm seamers all summer. Just back of a length around off stump, Strauss fiddled it and it got an edge to second slip who made no mistake! Massive roar from Amir!

Massive innings this for Cook and he could not have asked for a more futile situation. "10 not out, or gone again," is how Nasser Hussain sums it up - nothing for Cook to gain. Strauss will take strike against Mohammad Amir...
All eyes on Alastair Cook now, England will have just a few overs to survive before the close and Pakistan should come out flying against them. An early wicket will make that 75-run lead look a whole lot more. The pitch is very docile when the sun is out so England will need to get themselves a healthy lead, plenty of time left in the game to do it, it's brewing into an excellent Tes

Pakistan's day and an absorbing day of Test cricket. Much less breathless than what we've seen in this series but 10 wickets still fell. Alastair Cook survived but it was Pakistan's batsmen - led by Mohammad Yousuf and Azhar Ali - who have set up this game, taking Pakistan beyond 300 and giving them a very handy 75-run lead on first innings.
The third day will be absolutely pivotal - there is Cook battling for form, Pietersen still searching for an international hundred after a long, long time and Pakistan are sniffing a chance to set up victory. Make sure you join us at 10.45am to see how it all unfolds.
